The Indirect Tax regime in India is a dynamic one. It comprises a plethora of laws, rules and regulations at the central and the state level. The Government of India is in the process of implementing several changes in the Indirect Tax levies such as phasing out Central Sales Tax, bringing in more services in the gamut of taxable services etc.
