Abhishek Goenka is a partner in the Firm's Corporate Tax practice and leads the Firm's Technology Industry practice. He joined the Firm in November, 2004, before which he worked with Ernst & Young. He worked with Arthur Andersen for over six years until the Andersen practice combined with that of Ernst & Young in June 2002.

He has considerable experience in the corporate and indirect tax areas, as well as in the regulatory and policy area, and has advised a number of international and domestic companies on a range of tax and regulatory issues. He was a member of the core team of the Technology Industry practice at Ernst & Young, and has advised some of the largest companies in the technology sector on matters ranging from entry strategy, business and transaction structures, mergers, acquisitions and other business reorganizations.

He has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the Bangalore University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996.
