Amod Khare is a partner in the Firm’s Corporate Tax practice. He joined the Firm in March 2008. Prior to joining BMR, he was a partner in Ernst & Young where he was the Tax service line leader for the Media & Entertainment practice. He worked with Andersen for seven years until Andersen combined with Ernst & Young in 2002.

He has significant experience in advising clients in the Media & Entertainment Industry on a range of tax and regulatory issues where he has worked with a number of the industry leaders in the television, films advertising and media sectors. He has also worked intensely with telecommunications majors operating in the country as well as internationally. He has broad based experience in advising domestic and international companies on tax and regulatory issues arising from implementing acquisitions on structuring of transactions and tax optimization, as well as on cross border tax issues.



He has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Mumbai University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997.
